With 3 weeks to go – we now have 250 people registered, which means we are halfway to our target of 500 sea swimmers.

We have lots of people for you to meet on the day including the team from Sea Lanes, Author Jessica Hepburn with her new book (out March 7th), Mel has all the info on Dorset swim retreats, Clare and Anna can answer any of your coaching and rebalancing questions and Debbie Stevens will be able to answer all your reflexology questions – she has tips for cold hands and cold feet!

As part of the event Bird and Blend will be handing out samples of Mermaid Matcha Tea – it’s weirdly tasty and is an amazing colour.

We will also be capturing all your screams of delight with drone videography and local artist Debbie Lawrence will be on the beach capturing the swim. Wear you mostly colourful outfits to been seen in the painting!

This week we had fun with Latest TV with Ranieri Films recording a video about the swim for The Latest TV Channel. It will give you a flavour of the event and inspire you to come and join us.

The aim of the swim:

  • To celebrate IWD 2024 and to gather ALL of the South Coast’s Sea Swimmers in one place at one time for one very big photo
  • Unite us all through our love of the sea and show our support for women across the world
  • Fundraise for Surfers Against Sewage – you will be able to meet some of the SAS team at the event.
  • All registered swimmers will be entered into our prize draw – watch out for the prize list this week over at PinkNicky’s Blog

Come and join our noisy, colourful, sparkly spectacle on Brighton Beach – you will find conversation, food for the soul and sisterhood!
