In 2026, we will be running our fourth annual sea swimming event, in Poole and Brighton. This dual location will ensure that you are part of the UK’s biggest sea swimming event, celebrating International Women’s Day, fundraising for Surfers Against Sewage and championing women across the UK.
This event is hosted by PinkNicky and Land and Wave
In 2023, we had 250 swimmers; in 2024, 500 swimmers; and in 2025, we had 1000 swimmers join us for The Big Swim. In 2026, we aim to beat our record.
The aim of the event:
- To celebrate IWD 2026 and to gather 100’s of the South Coast’s Sea Swimmers in two places at one time for two very big photos
- Unite us all through our love of the sea and show our support for women worldwide.

- We are asking all our 100’s swimmers to commit to supporting, elevating and taking one action to elevate women in their community. We want to ensure every woman taking part can create a ripple effect long past International Women’s Day.

- Over the last 15 years, I have organised 100’s activities, including charity, business, and fundraising events, raising £1000’s along the way.
- Our Business networking events have had over 50,000 visits and have been run across the UK.
- I have run events in the Houses of Parliament, Natwest Bank, Google Campus, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Buckingham Palace!
- I specialise in eye catching events that have included a Bus Tour, 9 ft Polar bear, wing walking, an upside house, fire walking, a visit from James Bond and a singing flashmob!
- My most recent events have included a half marathon in Greenland, a swim in the Amazon, feeding 250 homeless people on Christmas Day, and living off the grid in a remote forest in Sweden.
