Thank you to Nicky and Lynette for inviting me to join the big swim 2025 as the newly appointed volunteer disability ambassador.. it was a blessing and pleasure to be the first disabled wheelchair woman to join you in making history.
The day was very special to me words can not express. My volunteers Jon, Paul and hildy, i will carry in my heart always for giving me such a wonderful opportunity and enabling me with no concern.
This gave me time to learn watch think about how best we can support access.. which I have many ideas to share.
Looking forward to issue inclusive disability tickets for 2026.
