English Channel Relay Swim

We are Miranda, Julia, Jo, Cathy, Sarah and Gemma and we are the Blue Footed Boobies channel relay team. We will be swimming the English Channel in July this year.

Why is the outdoors important to you?

We swim in Sussex waters year round and came together because of a shared love of swimming and the sea. We have been training hard and looking forward to the challenge. Plus we are raising money for the Sussex Kelp Recovery Project.

Why do you want to be involved?

To raise awareness that you don’t have to be an elite athlete to take on a big challenge and to share our love of the sea.
