Get Involved in the March for Clean Water

This week’s blog is more of a Newsflash and call to action. This is your opportunity to show your support for saving our environment. The March is on 3rd Nov, 1 pm-5 pm, in London.

Today’s call to action is a simple one: Sign up and join the March for Clean Water. I love the water, and when I look back over the year, water features heavily in what I do, from a 5km sea swim with my Friday Dippers, a photo shoot for our UK-wide #makingwaves campaign, and a commercial shoot for the national swimwear business to hanging out with friends, protesting with SAS, and discovering new places on a paddleboard with my wing women

Without clean water, none of this could happen!

The photo above is a very proud moment for me. We gathered 500 Sea swimmers to celebrate International Women’s Day and show our support for Surfers Against Sewage. Every swimmer above loves the water and understands why we can each act to end the sewage crisis. The March for Clean Water is aimed at 1000’s of water users across the UK.

Show your support and sign up today.

March for Clean Water in London is a one-off event organised by River Action to petition the government for clean water throughout the UK. It is timed to mark the end of the new government’s first 100 days and days before the Chancellor’s first budget (October 30), when environmental campaigners will be watching closely for financial commitments to protect the environment. The March for Clean Water will involve scores of participating groups and well-known personalities, including river campaigner Feargal Sharkey.

It’s time for Tea and Biscuits!
