Accepted in the mountains

I like exploring different things and trying myself in different areas. After having children I have discovered passion for sports – mud runs in particular. It brought me so much happiness. Then naturally progressing have started doing endurance events. But lately I feel I do not belong anywhere. Lots of pressure being a mum and manage life in general. Want to follow my dreams but finding so hard to open the doors that brings me closer to my dreams. Started going to mountains, doesn’t matter how big or small they are as I feel so alive there, not just at the summit but the journey itself. I feel so accepted there.

Why is the outdoors important to you?

I feel that going up the mountains is the one things that feels I am rewarded of my hard work – views at the summit. Also want to show my kids that lots of things can bring you joy but you have to find what brings you joy.

Why do you want to be involved?

To make connection with other women feel the passion for things they are doing for themselves. Not to feel guilty to prioritise your sense of adventure and do adventure. I would like to believe that what I do inspire other people. And to get confidence back, that feels like left me for quite some time now.
